What are the delivery charges for orders from DIY Solar Solutions?

We will deliver goods ordered by you as soon as possible to the address you give us for delivery, but in any event within 30 days of your order.

If the goods we deliver are not what you ordered or are damaged or defective or the delivery is of an incorrect quantity, we shall have no liability to you unless you notify us in writing, at our contact address, of the problem within 10 working days of the delivery of the goods in question.

If you do not receive goods ordered by you within 30 days of the date on which you ordered them, we shall have no liability to you unless you notify us in writing at our contact address of the problem within 10 days of our maximum delivery period of 30 from the date on which you ordered the goods.

Where we charge separately for packing, carriage and insurance and other relevant charges, the appropriate rates are set out in our specified pricing structure shown elsewhere on this website.

Which payment methods are accepted in the Online Shop?

We accept all debit and credit cards (except Amex), both online and over the phone. PayPal is also accepted via online purchases.

How long will delivery take?

We will deliver goods ordered by you as soon as possible to the address you give us for delivery, but in any event within 30 days of your order.
In the rare circumstance that you have an issue with the delivery please be aware that once it has left our warehouse it is out of our hands. We will however do everything possible to track and trace your item and chase up any issues that may occur if required. Please contact us if you are having trouble tracking your order.

How secure is shopping in the Online Shop? Is my data protected?

Your personal data is safe with us, we will not sell or use your data to contact you in anyway other than inform you of the current order status.

No payment information is available to us as it is processed by Klarna and PayPal on their secure servers.

What exactly happens after ordering?

Once order is place it will be immediately processed, once all items within the order have been collected and packaged. We will then start the dispatch and delivery process. Can I track my order or change delivery address?

After ordering you may receive a second email with delivery details which will including tracking information through our courier’s website. We do not recommend rearranging your order to be delivered to a SERVICEPoint as it may be rejected. This will delay your order and we may not be able to rearrange delivery before it is returned to us.

Do I receive an invoice for my order?

If ordering online, you will be sent an invoice via email straight after the order is complete. When processed via phone a printed copy is included in your order package. An emailed copy can be sent upon request.

How will Brexit affect deliveries into the EU?

EU customers will no longer be charged UK VAT, however you may have to pay import duties and fees when receiving your EU delivery. Deliveries to the EU may take a little longer due to new customs requirements.

Returns

You can return goods you have ordered from us for any reason at any time within 14 days of receipt for a full refund or exchange. The costs of returning goods to us shall be borne by you.

Upon receipt of the goods we will give you a full refund of the amount paid, or an exchange credit as required, less (if for any reason these costs have not been paid by you) the costs of delivery to us.
